Somebody I used to know (Steve x Reader) 2/3
Two days ago, coming back from grocery shopping
The warm afternoon sun heated up your cheeks as you walked through the streets of the city. Insanely heavy bags of groceries hung around your arms and Steve was by your side, asking every few hundred feet if you were sure about not letting him carry the bags.
“I can handle myself, Rogers,” you laughed, shaking your head. “I thought you knew that by now.”
“I do,” the super soldier nodded. “I just don’t want you to strain yourself.”
“You’re already carrying most of the groceries. I think I’ll be fine…. Ar

2016, New York – After the events of Civil War (warning: Spoilers!)
You were biting your nails, looking at the news report that was broadcasted on every channel. The TV screen showed pictures of Captain America and Iron Man fight it out on an airport in Germany, the headlines underneath saying Steve Rogers had gone rogue and was considered to be armed and dangerous. You swallowed hard, watching your boyfriend of several years fight the people he had called friends only days ago.
You watched the report in silent anticipation, not wanting to watch any of them get hurt, but unable to turn your eyes from the images that shot before yo

“Is this going to hurt?” the man before you asked, observing you as you heated up the electrode plates with your breath before sticking them to the sides of his head.
You smiled, looking into his clear blue eyes that stared at you in anticipation. “Not at all,” you reassured him. “I’m only going to check your brainwaves. See how you respond to some of these words,” you said, showing him a long list of Russian code words you had found and which had been frequently used during the Cold War by Russian spies and soldiers.

Authors note: Hail Hydra!
Several years ago, after the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. – Inside one of the Hydra bases
“You let me down, agent [Last Name], and you know how I hate to be disappointed,” it sounded in your head, blurry images moving before your eyes as you fought to stay conscious.
You pulled the heavy metal shackles that tied you to the wall, but the more you tried to break free, the more the cuffs closed around your wrists, cutting into your skin. A groan escaped your throat and a smile curled around your boss’ lips.
“I don’t want to do this, [Name], but you leave me no choice,” you
Hey everyone!
As some of you know, I've had a not so pleasant encounter with someone that copied my work and posted it as her own on another website. This has made me think about the protection DeviantArt provides authors on the website from plagiarism and copyright infringement, which to my knowledge is nonexistent, even though other artist can protect their work through watermarks. As an author I would like to have this protection as well (and I'm sure many others would like to have it too), and to my suprise it is (seemingly) easy. Other websites (such as the one my work was copied on) prevent people from copying anything through the disa

Here for you (Chris Evans x Reader) Part 1
Music blasted through the speakers in your apartment in Boston. You were dancing and singing as you cleaned the floor, sometimes using the tube of the vacuum as a microphone, making sure your hair didn’t get sucked in. You weren’t particularly keen on cleaning, but with some good music and a glass of wine you got yourself through it. Whether your neighbours were very happy about it…
Probably not.
You were so busy cleaning you didn’t even hear your doorbell. You loudly sang along with one of your favourite songs and danced through your living room, not noticing your apartment door being opened and the man tha

Possible spoilers for Avengers, Age of Ultron. Even though I have yet to see the movie still. I thought it would be proper to make a small one-shot. I'm feeding off of other friends stories who have seen it, as well as the media’s hype over the movie itself.
Instantly your eyes locked with Pietro's crystal blue orbs before you found yourself falling slowly into the midst of battle.
It was true that you had yet to fall in battle once before this given day, though the sheer force of the twins themselves against you alone had left you weakened and slightly disorientated.
Yet still the witch dared to call out to your thoughts, seeking to
That's probably my bad I hadn't been on DA for some time and quite a lot of things ran out of time to approve. I guess the system put it on disapproved automatically, sorry about that!
